TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

Reservations and Bookings

 

Reservations may be made via telephone, via E-Mail, or in writing. All reservations accepted via telephone, must be confirmed in writing within 7 days of the initial telephone request.

 

Payment

 

1. A deposit of 25% of the course fee must be paid within 7 days of the confirmation of the booking (Except IPAT and Trauma as these must be paid in full unless agreed by PHECTA).

2. Full payment is to be paid at least 4 weeks prior to the commencement date for the course, unless prior arrangements have been agreed with PHECTA (IPAT and Trauma Course deadline is Six Weeks prior to the course).  

3. Where courses involve an element of home / self study from pre-learning materials, payment is required no more than seven days after the date you book your place for the course.

4. Upon receipt of the full booking fee, joining instructions shall be sent to candidates (where applicable).

5. Payment is not refundable.

6. If full payment has not been received then candidates may not be admitted onto the course.

7. An administrative charge of 10% shall be added to the course cost where reminders for payment have to be sent.

8. Where payment is not received in full, and reminders have been sent out, clients may not be entitled to any discounted prices resulting in the full course cost being charged.

9. Where a reminder has been sent (via e-mail, letter or personal telephone call), and payment has not been received within 7 Days, legal action shall be commenced to recover outstanding payment for the whole course fee, administrative charge and legal costs.

10. Where oversees students are applying for a course, payment must be made in full within seven days of the course booking.

11. Where oversees students are attending a course that involves an element of self study from pre-learning materials, payment must be made in full, at least 12 weeks prior to the course commencement date. 

12. It is the responsibility of the oversees student and or their parent company to ensure that they have the correct visa's and paperwork in place that allows them to attend a course in the UK in line with current UK Immigration requirements.

13, IPAT Courses and Hazardous Environment Trauma Course Payments shall be due in full and are not refundable. candidates wishing to transfer to another course date may do so where the training department has capacity. a 10% administration fee is applicable.

     

 

How to make Payment

 

Payment by check is the prefered choice. 

 

Cheques should be made payable to the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Training Agencyand sent to the

Alternatively via Pay-Pal. If Paypal is to be used, we shall send you a paypal e-mail request and an additional administrative charge shall be applied to cover paypal charges.

 

Please Note, The Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Training Agency shall not issue certificates where payment has not been received in full.

 

 

Course Fees

 

All fees are correct at the time of printing but may be subject to change, in which case we reserve the right to charge the fee applicable at the  time we receive your reservation.

 

 

Transfers and substitutions

 

Transfer from one fast course to another will incur the loss of the full course fee unless alternative arrangements have been made with the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Regional Office Office. Substitutions can be made at any time prior to the course commencement providing we receive written confirmation.

 

 

Client Cancellation

 

Cancellations received by the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Training Agency 15 days prior to the course will be charged a 25% administration fee, 8-14 days prior to the course will be charged a 50% administration fee; 7 days or fewer prior to course or non-attendance - will incur the loss of total course fee.

 

 

Course Information

 

All Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Training Agency courses have strict timescales. It is suggested that students aim to arrive at the training centre15 minutes prior to the commencement of their course start time in order that the registration process can be completed as the course will commence strictly on schedule.

 

 

ALL MODULES OF THE REQUIRED COURSE MUST BE ATTENDED; THEREFORE LATE ARRIVALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

 

  

Programme Changes

 

The Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Training Agency reserves the right to cancel and/or amend course dates, times and content. You will be notified in writing of cancellations or amendments. In circumstances beyond our control, a course may have to be cancelled at short notice. In such cases fast will endeavour to arrange suitable alternatives.

 

 

Certification Information

 

Candidates Details

 

Candidates are reminded that It is their responsibility to ensure  that they complete their personal details clearly in block capitals on course registration forms as  these forms are used to take the details of the individuals for processing details onto final certification and assessment papers.

 

Re-Issue of Certificates

 

Duplicates

 

Duplicate certificates may be issued to candidates. However, the duplicate certificate will be marked as Duplicate and an administrative fee of £10.00 is charged.

 

Mistakes on original certificate

 

1. Where mistekes have been made in the spelling of candidates name etc, which is the fault of the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Training Agency, then we shall replace this with a new certificate on return of the original certtificate.

 

2. where mistakes have been made in the spelling of candidates names etc, which is not the fault of the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Training Agency i.e. the information on the certificate matches that of the course registration form, then we shall issue a new certificate on return of the original certificate. An administrative fee of £10.00 is charged per  certificate. Where the original certificate is not returned, no new certificate will be issued.
