& Entonox
Duration 4-Hours
About the course
We shall teach you how to safely administer Entonox, a pain relieving gas used in both the pre-hospital as well as the hospital field. Entonox is a self-administered gas which can be delivered to the casualty under the direct supervision of candidates who have completed this course.
Entonox has many benefits for patients who are suffering severe pain as a result of cardiac chest pain, labour pains, or those who have broken bones as a result of an accident. This course will teach your employees how to safely supervise the administration of Entonox, which is one of the quickest and most effective ways of alleviating pain where no paramedical or medical aid is readily available.
Who is it for?
The course is for those candidates who are in possession of a valid First Aid at Work Certificate, who have completed the Airway Management and Oxygen Therapy Course and who now wish to be in a position where through successful completion of this course will be able to explain to a casualty how to use and be able to safely supervise the self administration of Entonox in a wide variety of situations, which will help alleviate a casualties pain and assist in reducing their level of shock.
