The Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Training Agency provide comprehensive Private Ambulance Services consisting of Non-emergency Patient Care Service and an Emergency Ambulance Service.
 
Patient Care Service (Patient Transport Service)
 
The Patient Care Service (PCS) is responsible for the transport of a wide range of patients including:

  • Disablement Service Centre patients

  • Geriatric and psycho geriatric day care patients

  • Out Patients

  • Non urgent inter-hospital transfers

  • Routine discharges and admissions

  • and those unable to attend hospital by any other means

Patient Care Service staff receives specific training to equip them with the knowledge and skills to cater for the particular of these patients.

Patient Care Service Staff Training includes First Aid including Defibrillation, Moving and Handling of Patients, Patient Care Skills, Specialist Driving Skills

A number of our Patient Care Service Staff have received training in further clinical areas enabling them to crew High Dependency Unit Vehicles transporting patients with greater clinical needs, but who may not require the constant care of a State Registered Paramedic.

 
 
Emergency Ambulance & Paramedic Services
 
Our Emergency Ambulance & Paramedic service is able to provide the following type of vehicles
 
  • Paramedic Rapid Response Vehicles
  • 4 x 4 Ambulances
  • Front Line Emergency Ambulances

 

 The Emergency Ambulance & Paramedic Service is able to deal with all types and grades of patients requiring the services of an emergency ambulance. Our Emergency Ambulance & paramedic Servioce is staffed by the following grades of Staff

 

  • State Registered Paramedics
  • IHCD Ambulance Technicians
  • IPAT Emergency Medical Technicians
  • Registered Nurses - Trained and Specialising in Ambulance Skills.

 

Our staff follow clinical guidance and are constantly maintaining their skills and knowledge through CPD Training.

 

The Emergency Ambulance & Paramedic Services may be utilised for the transportation of all grades of patient from those transported by the Partient Care Service through to Transportation of Critically Injured Patients through Inter-Hospital Transfers.

 

The Emergency Ambulance & Paramedic Service is also able to offer support to the NHS Emergency Ambulance Services and NHS Trusts as and when required.

Our staff consist of  State Registered Paramedics, IHCD Emergency Medical Technicians, IPAT Ambulance Technicians, IHCD Patient Care Staff, IPAT patient Care Service Staff & Registered Nurses.  All are Highly Trained.  Their quality and standards can be assured. We do not compromise patient safety. We only use Qualified and Current Practicing Staff.

Individual Patient Transport Service

 

This service is also ideal for the patient who wishes to travel from A to B as a stretcher patient in one of our front line ambulances, or in a more comfortable Volvo Estate T5 Ambulance Response vehicle, or our Executive SAAB.

 

  

Rapid Transportation in Comfort and Safety

 

We are also able to provide a rapid transportation service for medical staff who require to deploy to another hospital at short notice to undertake emergency procedures for the benefit of patients. 

 

  

Re-Patriation Service to and from any UK Airport or Port

 

Our service is able to offer transport to patients to and from to any location within the UK mainland and Isle of White.

 

We can even provide an airport re-patriation  service for those who require ambulance care in transport to or from an airport. This may be to your home, Hotel, Respite centre or Hospital to the airport and vice versa. Or to and from any UK medical establishment.

 

 

TRAINING:

 

We run Private Ambulance Technician Training Courses. There are two levels of training and qualifications:

 

       Private Ambulance Technician - Emergency Medical Technician - Intermediate:-

 

  • Total of 180 Hours consisting of 120 Hours self study prior to attending the training centre, then 60 hours at the

              training centre (5 x 12 hour days)

 

 

      Private Ambulance Technician - Emergency Medical Technician - Advanced :-

 Candidates must have completed the 180 hour course first.

 

     Total of 360 Hours, consisting of:-

  • Pre-Study of 120 Hours at candidates home location.
  • 60 Hours at the training centre (5 x 12 Hour Days)
  • Home Study of 120 Hours between week 1 and 2 at the training centre.
  • 60 Hours at the training centre (5 x 12 Hour Days)
